Our Process

Schedule your 15-minute exploratory phone call with KB Design. This is a complimentary screening where you can review the project you have in mind for us and we can briefly get to know each other. 

2. Consultation

Once we have a mutual understanding of each other and the project, you will be sent a link to book a one-hour consultation with our design team. This is where you can fully download your design goals so we can establish the scope of work. Be prepared for us to ask you a million questions so we can really get to know you and get a handle on your personal style and vibes.

3. Proposal

KB Design will draft and send you a proposal based on everything discussed during the one-hour consult. You will be able to review all the details and request any changes or modifications as necessary. 

4. Contract and Payment

Once you have accepted the proposal, we will book another call to review material costs and budget. Once all of that is agreed upon, the contract will be drawn up and sent your way to be signed. This step is where the design fee is paid, which gives KB Design the green light to start creating your magic!

5. Room and Mood Boards

The wizards on the KB Design team will get to work on creating a room board and a mood board for all of the proposed spaces. This will allow us to take everything we learned about you during our exploratory calls and help you start visualizing the end result of our project in a tangible way. 

6. Presentation and Scheduling

Once the boards are created, we will schedule a time to present them to you and review them, making changes based on your preferences as we go. Once you’ve signed off on everything, all of your beautiful items are ordered. This step is also when your assembly day is scheduled and timelines are finalized. Things are getting real!

7. Assembly Day

Next comes assembly day. This step is for the KB Design team…we get to work on assembling any large pieces of furniture, check our inventory and ensure every single one of your new products are ready to be placed. This is how our team ensures that your final install goes off without a hitch.

8. Design Day

It’s finally design day! This is when our amazing team joins forces and turns your space into the masterpiece you’ve always imagined. This step is our favorite... it gives us chills every time to watch our clients fall in love with the transformed spaces of their dreams. It never gets old!
